Waste Disposal

Waste Disposal

Waste Management and Recycling supports the campus goal to reduce the amount of material entering the waste stream. There are approximately 35 recycling bins in physiotherapy campus which are of different colours with the instruction board helping for the waste distribution.

The waste dustbins accordingly divert the solid waste for recycling.

MGM recognizes the importance of its role in working to help avoid or to minimize the generation of waste and in working with the waste collection authorities. We are committed to good practice in reducing and managing waste effectively and innovatively and integrating the policy within the department at all levels.

MGM Medical College & Hospital, Aurangabad is a member of a common Biomedical Waste facility (Registration No WGP/BMW/AMC/03/2017). The Maharashtra Pollution Control Board has issued a letter of authorization for operating a facility for reception, collection, segregation, and transport of biomedical waste.
