Lecture Halls

MGM Institute of Physiotherapy has spacious and well equipped 05 classrooms stretching over 1200sq ft with capacity ranging from 80-100 for UG and PG students. Each lecture hall has blackboard, projector and projector screen. Lecture halls are equipped with Broad band LAN and WiFi facility. Apart from class rooms, every department has separate labs where final year PG activities are conducted.

Labs

Laboratories give students the opportunity for practical experience. College has well equipped labs for Kinesiology & Kinesiotherapy, and Electrotherapy, each with area of 1500sq ft.

Library

• MGM Institute of Physiotherapy has an excellent Health Sciences Library.
• The Library stretching over 2000sq ft, is a domain for information seekers, students, faculty, or researchers.
• It can accommodate 100 students at a time. It has more than 4500 books related to Health sciences.
• Besides the comfortable seating and reading environment, the library is well equipped with modern facilities
• such as internet and web resources, including online journals and e-books.
• The library is enabled with WiFi and security systems with CCTV.
• The library has separate reading area for Under and Post graduate students and faculties.

MGM Hospital- For In patient treatment care

• Students will undergo their clinical training in MGM Hospital and Medical Centre & Research Institute (MGMMCRI), Aurangabad.
• MGM hospital is a “NABH & NABL” accredited 850-bedded teaching hospital providing quality patient care services.
• Being one of the leading health care providers in Marathwada, MGM hospital offers comprehensive medical, surgical, physiotherapy services along with super-specialty services to common public.
• All our students and interns will be posted in this MGM hospital to gain clinical exposure to treat various patients including state-of-the-art intensive care units.

MGM Physiotherapy Rehabilitation and Fitness Centre- for Out-patient Treatment care

All the students are clinically trained in one of the most sophisticated specialty physiotherapy departments in entire Marathwada region under the expertise of competent Physiotherapists. It offers rehabilitation services in Sports, Cardiopulmonary, Neurological, Pediatric, Geriatric, Community and Musculoskeletal.

Innovative Research Centre

MGM Institute of Physiotherapy facilitates research and innovation in students and faculties to pursue their career in under-graduation and post-graduation to remain updated in field. We believe that - Innovation in healthcare covers innovation in all facets may impact the creation and functioning of the national healthcare system .The research and developmentalactivities in our institute includes organizing guest lectures/ CMEs / workshops on research methodology by eminent researchers from the academics at regular interval. The institute has collaboration with Innovation Incubation and Research Center (IIRC) where the innovations are taking place.

Outreach Facilities

Department Sports physiotherapy has MOU with Sports Authority of India, and BAMU University Aurangabad where students are posted for clinical training. Department of community physiotherapy does community outreach activities round the year. The department focuses mainly on providing outreach activities by organizing health care camps, health promotion sessions, health awareness education sessions. It has MOU with various primary health centers and industries.
